If you have watched the news at any time in the last week or so, you MIGHT have heard that Texas. is. hot. Like really hot. Matter of fact, it is so hot that the trains are not able to run on time because they are worried about warping the tracks!
Anyway, I was SURE that it was hot enough to cook an egg. I mean good grief, it was 114 on my car today!
So, I cracked an egg…on my husbands smoker. (I have a dog people! She cannot eat an egg!) Here is what it looked like at 5:30 in the evening.
And this is what it looked like two hours later…I wanted to check it in an hour but totally forgot….
So not really cooked, but sort of dehydrated?
Gross? Yes. A little disappointing? Yes. Would I do it again? In a heart beat!
I am kind of curious what the egg will look like in the morning!
